Alliance REIT is a Toronto-based real estate investment trust established in 2016.
Alliance develops boutique 3 to 8 unit multiplexes that fit the streets they sit on, built to a standard residents are proud to call home. We build every property by asking ourselves one question: would we want to live here? It is a standard we hold ourselves to at every stage, from acquisition to property management, ensuring every home is well designed, well maintained, and a place residents genuinely feel they belong.

Alliance provides direct access to Toronto's freehold infill rental market, a high-demand, undersupplied asset class that has historically been difficult for individual investors to reach. Investments are RRSP and TFSA eligible.
Since inception, Alliance has built a portfolio that performs across market cycles. Our focused acquisition strategy, hands-on asset management, and long-term operating approach have produced consistent results in favourable markets and through difficult ones.

Hooman has over 20 years of experience developing and managing residential real estate. A Toronto native, he has a deep personal connection to the city and its neighbourhoods. That passion guides his leadership as CEO of Alliance REIT.
Before founding Alliance, Hooman served as a strategic advisor to the Boards of publicly listed companies and REITs at Kingsdale Advisors. He has also held senior legal and asset management roles at Mackenzie Financial, BMO Global Asset Management, and BlackRock Canada. Hooman began his career practicing law at Goodmans LLP.

Jonathan Gareri

Jonathan began his career at his family’s electrical business at a very young age and eventually rose to the role of operations manager. Since then, he has been involved in all aspects of the real estate industry, including construction management, operations management, and accounting. He has also held roles managing business operations across several other industries.
Prior to joining Alliance, Jonathan worked in the mortgage industry where he assisted the CFO and was responsible for all aspects of accounting and for coordinating with brokers, lawyers, and lenders. Jonathan joined Alliance REIT in 2022 and is the team leader responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the REIT.

Adam’s career spans more than 25 years, and he has developed a comprehensive skill set across all areas of construction and development, from early planning through to final execution. His understanding of construction dynamics and his ability to anticipate and resolve challenges make him a valuable contributor to every project. Adam began his career at a young age under the mentorship of his father, a veteran general contractor, which provided the foundation for a long and accomplished career in the construction field.
Adam is committed to fostering strong client relationships and recognizes the importance of clear communication and transparency in building trust. His deep knowledge of the construction process, combined with his hands-on approach, ensures that every Alliance project meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and the elevated brand expectations that Alliance upholds.

David is actively involved in community fundraising, participating on the board of a number of charitable organizations raising millions of dollars towards Mount Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital and other charitable institutions.
